Fundraising event for a village well and community centre in Ruhanga Village South West Uganda.

An enlightening evening dedicated to issues faced by the women of Ruhanga village a remote rural village in south West Uganda

The community is in dire need of a centre that will serve as an adult education resource and a Well with a hand pump so that the women and children do not have to travel great distances to collect clean water. Although the villagers have started work on some commercial projects there is a huge funding gap and the estimated cost to complete these projects is around £10,000.
We are hoping to raise much of this figure at this event.   £6000 raised at this event will provide clean and safe water to over 10,000 villagers including schools
